Adaptive Changemaking Facilitation Course

Gain the tools you need to expand your facilitation or consulting practice through the CultureSource Facilitator’s Institute. This program will develop your understanding of organizational effectiveness and strengthen your ability to help organizations grapple with complexity. This program is open to leaders, consultants, executive coaches, and trainers across the country with affinities for the arts.

The Facilitator Institute was designed by the nonprofit arts consulting group EmcArts. CultureSource integrated EmcArts into our organization in 2022, making their unique and high-impact leadership development programs permanent offerings in our portfolio of services.

Program Curriculum

This program helps participants develop understanding of organizational dynamics and adaptive changemaking.

Outcomes? We hire institute participants to facilitate strategic planning processes, organizational development initiatives, and seminars on executive leadership. We also keep participants connected in a community of practice.

The Facilitator Institute has a blended structure, pairing asynchronous learning, synchronous online meetings, individual coaching sessions, and in-person gatherings. Due to the comprehensive nature of this program, the importance of creating a true cohort, and the fact that the work builds upon itself, it is imperative that all participants be available for the entire duration of the program.

Participant Profile

Interested in joining the Facilitator’s Institute? Ideal candidates are:

• Multidisciplinary consultants, facilitators, trainers, speakers, and/or change-agents
• Have a deep interest in adding an adaptive changemaking framework to their facilitation toolkit
• Have a strong affinity for arts and culture
• Have a track record for effectively guiding teams through challenges.

Information Session

Learn more about the Institute and ask questions about participating at our virtual info session. Our seasoned facilitators Melissa Dibble and Naimah Wade will provide information on the scope, sequence, and expectations of the course. Our facilitators will also share information about travel stipends for participants coming from outside of Southeast Michigan.
