Become a Member

CultureSource offers an annual membership that is available to your entire organization and includes a set of benefits designed to support your work and strengthen our collective alliance.


  • 501(c)(3) nonprofits (independent or operating within a large nonprofit institution) or government entities or agencies
  • Located within our seven-county service area: Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, Livingston, Monroe, and St. Clair
  • Focused on visual, performing, media, or literary arts; arts education or  advocacy; or if your organization is a museum, theater, historic site, or nature/science or preservation center

Membership renews each year in January.

Renew Your Membership

For current or lapsed members, you are welcome to pay your annual membership dues anytime throughout the year. We encourage you to renew early to ensure continuous access to your member benefits which are available to all staff, board, and volunteers. Dues are Pay What You Can, but we have a recommended contribution amount based on your organization’s annual budget.

As a CultureSource member, your entire organization—staff, board, and volunteers—play a crucial part in maintaining a vibrant, multidisciplinary alliance that believes in creating impact through artistic and cultural expression. We are proud to offer our members access to an array of opportunities to help advance their organizations and improve community wellbeing through arts and culture. Update Membership Information

We want to make sure you, your staff and board continue to receive our emails, invites and newsletters so please make sure you update the contact information for members of your organization. Let us know of any changes to your staff and board or the organization at large.
