CultureSource and the Gilbert Family Foundation are proud to announce the recipients of our third funding cycle of the Digital Access for the Arts program.

Twelve CultureSource member organizations have been awarded an $8000 stipend to help us learn about the sector’s digital capacity needs through our Tech and Arts Recipes initiative. Alongside our technologist-in-residence, these organizations will explore recipes that are linear, step-by-step experiences that provide exposure to new technologies and digital methodologies.

Our research partner 8 Bridges Workshop will use the aggregated data to develop a report on what organizations need, recommendations on better supporting them, and what CultureSource specifically might provide or advocate for. We will also publish full and refined recipes alongside the report.

In addition to the financial component, the DAAP program offers free technology consulting with CultureSource Technologist-in-Residence, Jon Riley. Jon works as an ally to member organizations who need someone to co-think with them on demand and offer informed insights. Consultations are free for CultureSource members.

Digital Access for the Arts also supported the development of the CultureSource resource library—a digital hub of how-to guides, research insights, and articles to support cultural organizations and creative people.

We’ll be sharing more information about grant recipients and their work on our Instagram (@culturesource) in 2024.

A special thank you to our partners at the Gilbert Family Foundation.
