Creators of Culture

Improving access to capital for small-scale arts activity in Southeast Michigan

Creators of Culture supports grassroots arts groups, collectives, and artist-led organizations advancing community wellbeing across Southeast Michigan, particularly those historically excluded from philanthropic funding. In partnership with The Kresge Foundation and the Hudson-Webber Foundation, the program invests in cross-sector, equity-rooted creative work.

The Flourish Fund supports experimental, collaborative visual arts projects in Southeast Michigan that push creative boundaries and engage the public. In partnership with the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, the program invests in artist-organized work across the region

Washtenaw Artist Grants

Advancing Equity in Washtenaw County

Centered on racial equity, the Washtenaw Artist Grants support Washtenaw County artists leading community-based projects. In partnership with the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation, the program invests in artist-led, participatory work.
