CultureSource is proud to announce the first class of Wayne County educators to receive Fisher Arts Education Minigrants. $9000 was awarded to eight PreK–3rd grade teachers to support the purchase of cultural field trips, and the purchase of art supplies and equipment for their classrooms.
Instead of asking teachers to fill out traditional applications, we asked CultureSource members with ties to rockstar teachers in Wayne County to recommend educators who could use some extra support for their classroom. We’d like to thank our members who took the time to recommend a majority of the teachers who received funding.
