CultureSource’s primary service is convening the Southeast Michigan cultural sector. This is a service we have been asked to provide since our founding and one that puts us in touch with the wide range of organizations and individuals in the region building businesses and practices focused on creative and cultural expression.

CEO Roundtables
A foundational activity of CultureSource—since our incorporation—has been to convene our members’ CEOs regularly for roundtable discussion in varying configurations to build sector collegiality, collaboration, and resiliency.

Senior Staff Calls
COVID-19 response, crisis coordination, and general operations conversations among the senior leadership of member organizations, co-hosted with senior leadership from The Ark, the Michigan Science Center, and the Detroit Zoological Society, with additional guest speakers.

CultureMakers
Launched with the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation, CultureMakers is a program for young leaders, predominantly of color, that aims to explore contemporary practices in the arts and shift dominant narratives about culture.
